# FWA structural risk audit v1 — executive summary FWA is a mechanically well-built, non-proxy NFT-gacha system (solc 0.8.30, Chainlink VRF v2.5, Solady primitives, consistent CEI + reentrancy guards, per-listing ETH escrow keeping the core pool solvent, immutable purchaser-payout floors). No critical exploitable code bug was found. The dominant risk is trust concentration, not an exploit: a single owner key controls every economic knob across all 8 contracts (uncapped surcharge, owner-mutable VRF coordinator, rewards/ airdrop drains behind state guards, a 1-year Splitter sweep, merkle-root reset), with no timelock and unverified multisig. On a negative-EV gambling game, a fair-but-house-favored machine whose parameters the house can retune at will is the defining structural risk. Overall risk: elevated. Grade: C. Independent analysis — not a formal audit, not an endorsement, no buy/sell advice. Full report: docs/audits/fwa/audit-v1.md.

Methodology

Manual source review (no automated tooling) of the verified Etherscan source of all 8 FWA contracts, reasoned to file:line against a Solidity review rubric (admin/ownership powers, upgradeability, custody, randomness integrity, reentrancy, economic traps, honeypot/transfer restrictions, event/error/storage patterns). Verified source wins over documentation. Live on-chain values cited are those recorded at state block 25762870 (docs/audits/fwa/fixtures/state-block-25762870.json). Non-proxy status confirmed via a zero EIP-1967 implementation slot on all 8 contracts; mutability is via owner setters only, no upgrade path. Companion recon: docs/research/2026-08-15-fwa-contract-recon.md.

This is HouseMath's independent structural analysis, computed from public on-chain data. It is not a formal security audit, not a guarantee of safety, and not an endorsement of this protocol, its team, or any token. On-chain gambling carries a real risk of total loss.
